Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actress, activist for animals and author who won several awards. The actress is famous for movies like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). When she was in New York, she was born and brought up in an creative family. Her first job was as an assistant to photographers. After that, she switched to modelling and acting. She was noticed in two of her films and won the Golden Globe Award for Most promising Newcomer. MacGraw became a global celebrity after her movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. In just three films, MacGraw was declared the most successful female at the box office in history. The Grauman's Chinese Theater engraved her autograph as well as foot prints, hand prints, and footprints in the year 1972.
