Zoe-perry

Perry was born in Chicago to actors Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. She made her first appearances in television shows in the role of Jackie Harris, a character played by her mother in Roseanne, an ABC show Roseanne. Perry did not decide to pursue acting as a career after reaching the age of adulthood due to her parents being concerned about the adverse impact stress might be a cause of. The same year her character was cast the younger version of Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) on Young Sheldon, a spin-off of the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory again portraying a younger version of her mother's character. The character was chosen via auditions the fact that she had a deep association with it.
