Ina-Garten
Ina Garten, an American author of cookbooks on cooking as well as Emmy Award-winning host of Food Network's oldest program Barefoot Contessa which began broadcasting in 2002 and will run for 27 seasons until 2020. Ina started her career with nuclear energy policy and budgets for the White House. Though she found the career intellectually stimulating initially eventually she dropped interest and purchased a small specialty food store - Barefoot Contessa. Prior to selling the company it took her more than 18 years building it to the most successful shop. The other cookbooks came out, as were magazine articles. Her Food Network TV show also was launched, and was a huge success. She sells many products, from ingredients for food preparation to kitchenware, storage and even cooking equipment. Ina did not go to a cooking institute and hasn't worked in restaurants. She's completely self-taught. Ina's easygoing style of entertaining as well as her simple culinary style is widely known. Her best-known recipes include Skillet with roasted lemon chicken and Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & cheese Beef Bourguignon. Balsamic roast Brussels Sprouts, Lemon Bars and Mac & cheese.
