Taylor Momsen was born in Saint. Louis Missouri. She is a popular American model/singer/actress, singer/songwriter and model. Most well-known is her role in the CW TV series Gossip Girl as Jenny Humphrey and as the main singer of The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's songs have been used in various films and TV shows, such as How to Be Solo Going the Distance and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen, born in July 1993, has an elder sister Sloane Momsen. She was a dancer in the Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis. Her first professional role was in a Shake and Bake national commercial at the age of three. Momsen's career was put on hold for three years before she was cast in the lead role in the film Misconceptions. Momsen also appeared in Saving Shiloh in the year 2006. Momsen also tried out for the title role in Hannah Montana and was in the top three. However, the part was awarded instead to Miley Cyrus.
